What is Microblading?

Microblading is a permanent makeup treatment using a hand held tool made up of tiny fine needles configured into a blade shape to deposit hair like strokes of pigment into the top layers of skin, the epidermis. The feathering technique of hair strokes are fine and crisp and look like natural eyebrow hairs.

How long does Microblading last?

Microblading lasts up to two years, depending on your lifestyle and exposure to the sun. Top ups are recommended at around the 12-18 month period to ensure you get the full benefit of your brows for the longest time possible.

Does it hurt?

The procedure is relatively painless, some say it feels like an electric toothbrush brushing the skin. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied before the treatment, which can be topped up during the process.

Who is Microblading for?

Suitable for most people, Microblading is ideal for those who wish to enhance their browns to gain a more defined look and shape.

It is ideal for those who have very little brow hair, as the technician carefully ‘draws’ individual fine hair-like stokes, to create a super-realistic look. Often referred to as ‘eyebrow embroidery’.

Microblading is perfect for those who have little time to apply makeup everyday and those who have an unsteady hand!

The treatment usually takes around two hours. Everybody heals differently; the immediate 5-7 days following your treatment are the most important. It is during these first few days that your new brows may become quite dry, they may even scab slightly. You are given a thorough after care regime to follow to enable you to understand the healing process and to ensure you maintain the best possible outcome for your brows.
